Darcie began drawing before she could talk, later pursuing painting in her teen years, first exhibiting in the Creative Generation Regional Exhibition at the Sunshine Coast University in 2016. In 2019 she commenced her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art Minoring in Graphic Design, graduating with Distinctions in 2022. Post university, Darcie has continued to assert a name for herself as an emerging artist, exhibiting locally and interstate while selling and commissioning original works.

Darcie began commission work in 2019, her first being the single cover ‘Burning’ for Venice on Fire (2015-2021). Having appeared in multiple local bands herself, Darcie has established herself as a regular personality within the vibrant Brisbane music scene. This has enabled her to build a strong network, working with bands including Semantics, Fragile Animals, Annoying Neighbours, The Melancholiac, Verum, Jane Street, and Sacred Hearts.

Darcie’s practice has since expanded into larger scale works and murals. Darcie participated in Brisbane Street Art Festival, painting her mural ‘Same but Different’ in Queen Street Mall (2023).
