Darcelle (Darcie) is an emerging visual artist, designer and musician based in Brisbane, QLD.

With a keen focus on our inner and outer worlds - Darcie’s practice navigates complex emotions, mental health and the human experience. The artist’s work is deeply reflective working to break down and re-contextualise personal ideals, ego, and identity. 

Taking influences from surrealism, expressionism and street art, Darcie’s work is embedded with personal symbolism, imaginative representations of form and intuitive use of colour. A practice grounded in process and play allows the artist to find organisation within a busy mind, in the evolving pursuit for authentic self-expression.
